Temperatures in the 30s coupled with a chilly rainfall made for a great night of baseball in Colorado. We were lucky that our seats were high enough to be covered.

Who would have thought that The Rockies would be kicking ass in October?

WE WOULD!!!! GO ROCKIES!!!

Yorvit Torrealba cracked a tie breaking three-run homer in the sixth inning.

What more can I say? They walked all over us and we left in the fourth quarter during a cold period of rain. I don’t care what Brandon Marshall has to say, I booed the Rockies when they sucked…LET’S GO ROCKIES!!!!

For the first time in my life the baseball team that I cheer for is in the playoffs, too bad it was against Soren’s team, The Phillies.

In the second inning the lights went out due to a computer malfunction.

The Rockies won again and are headed to the National League Championship.

Soren and I went to the game with Bob and Doc from The Guck.

The Rockies swept the Phillies in three straight games.

After going to a ton of Rockies games this year, we lucked out again and thanks to my man C.T. we were able to go to the last game of the season.

Or was it???

If the Rockies won this game they would tie the Padres for the Wild card to force a one game tie-breaker. It was a close game with a ton of energy in the crowd, and it came down to the wire.

The Rockies were able to hang on and force a one game playoff to see who goes to the playoffs.

Today I headed up to the Big Thompson for some fishing with my old man.

At first it was a little frustrating to be able to see so many fish swimming around and not getting a bight. After a while I figured out what I was doing, what they wanted, and I started to catch some fish.

I caught this Rainbow Trout and wanted to take a picture. After I took the picture I slid the camera into the pocket of my jacket and it fell out right into the river! I quickly reached down and grabbed the camera out of the water, popped out the batteries and the memory card, water came rushing out of the camera. Needless to say that this was the last picture I got this day. Lucky for me I was able to fix the camera and I will continue to snap away for our little site.

This was a great game that the Rockies won with a bunch of home runs in dramatic style.

To make it even better it was Manny Corpas t-shirt night!

My favorite days are pompom days. They let off a ton of orange balloons and did a fly-over too! A good way to start the season.

At the end of the game it really came down to the wire. It was in overtime that the Raiders kicked a field goal that they made and we were devastated. We lost to the Raiders? NOPE! The Broncos got off a time out before the Raiders kicked the field goal. After the time out I was literally praying they would miss their second attempt at a field goal. God must really be a Broncos fan because they missed and the BRONCOS TAKE THE WIN!

The first thing we did after we cleared customs in Charlotte was have some beef!!
